In the summer, even though the shop stayed open during July and August, things always slow down a bit in the studio. The heat and the nice weather beckon me, and I spend a little less time at my desk and a little more in my garden—especially since this year’s intense heat didn’t make it easy for me to stay in my studio under the roof. Plus, there have been quite a few exhibitions this summer as well, and just as many times when I’ve been on the road to meet with you. So this is a time when I take it a bit easier, when posts become less frequent—even though I’m still working on your orders every day.
But my favorite season is coming up soon, and I'm happy to see the temperatures dropping a bit. For those of you who’ve been following me for a long time, you’ve probably already noticed that I become much more active in the fall: it’s a season that inspires me, that recharges my energy, and I always head back to the studio with great pleasure after a well-deserved break. This year is no exception, and it’s high time to pick up where I left off!
We have three more events left before the traveling shop goes back on hiatus until next year:
- La Croisée des Temps in Contamine Sarzin, August 22 and 23
- Fort Fort Lointain in Bron, September 5 and 6
- Cidre et Dragon in Merville Franceville, September 19 and 20
As I do every year, you’ll find my limited-edition fall collection on the website, featuring little acorns, pumpkins, and leaves swirling in the wind. This will also be an opportunity to continue working on our next collection, “Sapiences,” which I’d love to release early next year and which has plenty of surprises in store for you! Several prototypes are already ready in the studio, and I can’t wait to show you everything!
