On the site, I offer you a wide range of jewels with very different inspirations and manufacturing techniques. Whether beaded, stamped or sculpted, all the jewels in the workshop share the same philosophy: authenticity, handmade craftsmanship and respect for materials... But have you ever wondered why these different collections exist and what they represent?
The Weaver Collection - The thread of everyday life
This is the very first collection to come out of the workshop, over 15 years ago.Weaver " in English, to recall weaving, the delicate interweaving of materials to create meaning. The Weaver collection features carefully selected pearls. Each piece of jewelry in this collection is designed to be easy to wear, light, yet meaningful. Whether for the simple joy of associating colors, for the love of minerals or, for those who are sensitive to them, to take advantage of the virtues associated with lithotherapy, these creations are for all those who seek to bring magic into their simplest gestures.

The Nova Magia collection - Fantasy and tales of yesteryear
The Nova Magia collection offers jewelry with a more sophisticated spirit, inspired by fantasy, art nouveau and medieval imagery. For this collection, we are fortunate to collaborate with two stampers, one based in the United States, the other in France. The latter is the last stamping company still operating in the country, and is classified as an Entreprise Familiale du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV).
Stamping is a technique that involves pressing a brass plate into a die to give it relief. This plate is then cut, plated, patinated and varnished before being used in the manufacture of our jewelry. Some dies still in use today may be over 100 years old! Wearing a piece of jewelry made from prints is like carrying a little piece of history and know-how with you, and we're very proud to be able to present you with creations adorned with these exceptional elements!

Luna - freedom and inspiration
The Luna collection is the most intimate and demanding expression of my work. It's also the one that gives me the most freedom. Each piece of jewelry is made entirely in the workshop, from a bronze paste that I formulate myself. The metal paste technique is relatively recent, having been democratized in Japan in the 90s. However, the technique was mentioned in ancient writings, many centuries before! When this paste, composed of fine metal particles and an organic binder, is heated to a high temperature, the particles fuse together to form a solid piece with a warm hue. We blend this new know-how with traditional jewelry-making methods to create unique, long-lasting pieces.
Last year, I decided to formulate my own bronze. This choice allows me to know exactly what goes into my creations, without any compromises. The jewels are then shaped, sculpted, set, patinated and polished by hand. Nothing is delegated, apart from the cutting of the stone (and even then, I sometimes cut some of my cabochons myself too!). Everything is done in the Vosges, slowly, with patience and passion. But above all, this collection gives me unprecedented freedom: I don't choose a stone to adapt it to a piece of jewelry; it's the piece of jewelry that is born around the stone. Unlike the Nova Magia collection, where stones have to be calibrated to fit into the prints, here I can work with exceptional, sometimes irregular stones, simply for the pleasure of highlighting them.
I also sometimes combine this technique with more modern methods, such as 3D design, to create jewelry in lost-wax casting. In this case, each model is of course designed by myself in the workshop (as I'm also a 3D computer graphics artist and graphic designer) before being passed on to a trusted caster.
The Luna collection is therefore a skilful blend of traditional and modern techniques, allowing me to express my creativity and offer you themed collections and unique jewels that you won't find anywhere else. The only limit is my imagination!

Finding a happy medium...
Why offer the Weaver and Nova Magia collections, if I'm so free to express myself in the Luna collection?
I couldn't bring myself to set aside the Weaver or Nova Magia collections, even though the Luna collection offers me incomparable creative freedom. Each of these collections brings me something precious. They make me grow differently, push me in complementary directions, and above all enable me to offer you a variety of jewels: sometimes raw and spontaneous, sometimes worked down to the smallest detail. These different collections also enable me to offer creations at variable prices, since each creation requires its own time, gesture and requirements.
My aim is to make craftsmanship accessible, which is why prices vary from one collection to the next. The Weaver collection is the most affordable, designed as a gentle invitation to wear stones every day. Nova Magia, on the other hand, is an intermediate-priced collection, although the rise in raw materials, particularly brass, has had an impact on the cost of many jewels in recent years. Finally, the Luna collection requires a much greater investment: each piece of bronze jewelry is entirely designed in the workshop, from the formulation of the material to the final patina. This means days, sometimes months, of work: imagining, designing, sculpting, testing, polishing, assembling... This explains why these jewels are rarer and more expensive than those in the other collections. Yes, craftsmanship has a cost. But that's also the beauty of it, don't you think?
Creating a unique piece from A to Z requires a lot of time, tools, know-how... and above all, energy. This is the other cost that is often overlooked: each piece in the Luna collection requires me to constantly renew myself to offer something innovative and unique each time. This requires immense energy, both physical and mental. And while this free creation is a source of joy, it can also be exhausting over the long term. My mind needs to take a break to recharge its batteries, before setting off on a new journey. This is where the Weaver and Nova Magia collections really come into their own: once the designs have been created, the making of them becomes almost meditative. I rediscover gestures I know by heart, and let myself be carried away by the material and the silent rhythm of hands weaving or assembling (sound familiar? ;) ). These are moments of calm, of reconnecting with the material... and often, it's precisely in these moments that the ideas for the next Luna pieces emerge!
I believe it's important to find the right balance between free creation and spiritual repose, exceptional craftsmanship and accessible jewelry, one-off pieces and collections for everyday wear.
Terra Nostra is all these things at once :)
