Legends from the Depths of the Woods is a collaborative collection between the talented artist Moïra and Terra Nostra. Moïra is an artist who has always been inspired by nature, by the detail of a leaf or a feather... In the past, the margins of her school notebooks were filled with griffins, birds or horses, manes blowing in the wind. Today, she has joined forces with Terra Nostra for this collection of soft, poetic bronze jewellery, entirely made in France. This collection, inspired by nature and the creatures that inhabit our dreams and forests—whether fantastical or not—is an ode to the passing seasons and the poetry of the tales of our childhood. We have conceived it as a ‘common thread’, and it will be expanded with new pieces as the seasons change and our shared desires evolve.

Did you know?

The metal paste technique originated in Japan in the 1990s. By mixing metal particles with an organic binder, a homogeneous and malleable mixture is produced. During an initial firing at 400°C, the binder burns off and evaporates. Then, a second firing at over 800°C fuses the metal particles to create pure metal. This method thus combines contemporary knowledge with traditional jewellery-making techniques, enabling the creation of exceptional and durable pieces. After months of research, we are very proud to formulate our own bronze to offer you jewellery of the very highest quality!

Entirely crafted in our small workshop in the Vosges from bronze powder: the piece, sculpted by Moïra, is cast and then fired at over 800°C before being patinated, polished, set and varnished by us. Bronze is a material that evolves and will develop a natural patina over time.

Tip: To restore its original shine, use a special micro-abrasive cloth, such as the one supplied with your jewellery, or a soft-bristled metal brush (brass or steel).
